Just Shutters are taking action to minimise any potential effect the Coronavirus may have on our service to you, and crucially on the wellbeing and health of our customers and our team. We will continue to monitor the current government advice and put that into practice.

We are, and always have been, a business with real family values, we care and take the welfare of our team and customers very seriously. Through careful planning and preparation, Just Shutters, our suppliers and partners, we fully anticipate that we can continue to operate as usual. However, if we expect any delay in our high service levels or any temporary extension to deadlines outside of our control, we will ensure that we communicate this to you promptly to minimise any potential impact.

It is not an easy time for anyone at the moment. This is a dynamic situation and will continue to evolve. For now, it is very much business as usual for Just Shutters.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I’M WORRIED ABOUT PHYSICAL CONTACT, WHAT CAN YOU DO TO REASSURE ME? We will always extend a warm greeting to you, but for the time being this won’t be accompanied by a handshake or any other physical contact. We ask for your help in washing your hands thoroughly as often as possible. All of our teams have committed to wash their hands thoroughly and regularly. We are cleaning and sanitising all touched surfaces regularly. Our team members will observe the 2-metre distance rule from customers and colleagues as much as possible, as recommended by the government

We continue to monitor health closely. Any team member that presents symptoms, however mild, will not be entering your home for 7 days

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CLOSE YOUR OFFICE? All our administration employees and your local designers and fitters have laptops and mobile phones and can work remotely. We can access all the necessary systems required to keep everything progressing, we will be available whether the office is open or not.

I’M NOT FEELING WELL, WHAT SHOULD I DO? If you are not feeling well we ask you to postpone your appointment with us until you’re feeling better.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO GET UPDATES ON PROGRESS? Yes, we will still have access to our systems, whether remotely or in the office, we will be available by email or phone, so you are kept up to date.

I’M NERVOUS ABOUT LETTING YOUR FITTER INTO MY HOME, WHAT CAN YOU DO? Masks and Gloves – Please let us know if you’d like your installer to wear a mask when visiting your home. If you prefer, they could also wear gloves in most situations, just talk to them when they come. All of our team will sanitise their hands before arriving at your home, they will ensure their hands are clean and hygienic. They will then sanitise surfaces touched before leaving

I’M NERVOUS ABOUT LETTING YOUR DESIGNER INTO MY HOME, WHAT CAN YOU DO? If you are uncomfortable with one of our team coming to your home due to the virus, we have a number of alternatives to put your mind at ease.

Measuring Kits – We are sending out our special ‘Measuring Kits’, which will give you guidance on how to take basic measurements for shutters, we will even send you a short survey sheet and information on how to send this easily to your local designer. We have been working with shutters for nearly nineteen years now so we will be able to make sense of those details!

Photos will, of course, help, we will even be able to advise on shaped windows, special finishes, bespoke colours and specialist solutions such as automated shutters.

WHAT STEPS ARE YOU TAKING TO LOOK AFTER YOUR EMPLOYEES? We are following and exceeding all government best practice advice for our staff and giving our local teams clear guidelines on best safety practices. Our administration team are free to work from home if they choose to.
